Terms of Service - Huddle

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Huddle Marketplace ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Platform Description

Huddle is homeownership infrastructure that activates dead capital for renters through Bitcoin-denominated fiduciary bonds and on-chain rental reputation. The Platform facilitates rental agreements between landlords and tenants using cryptocurrency payments. Huddle does not provide investment advice, and Bitcoin allocations are subject to market volatility.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Huddle cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

4. Cryptocurrency Payments

Payments on Huddle are made using USDC (USD Coin) stablecoin on the Base blockchain.

Important: Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. Once a payment is sent, it cannot be reversed or refunded except through the normal deposit return process at lease end.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you send payments to the correct address. Huddle is not responsible for payments sent to incorrect addresses.

5. Bitcoin Savings

The Platform offers optional Bitcoin allocation features that automatically convert a portion of rent payments to Bitcoin. Huddle is not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, or exchange. Bitcoin allocations are not investment products.

Volatility Risk: Bitcoin is a volatile digital commodity. The value of your Bitcoin allocation may increase or decrease. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You may lose some or all of the value of your allocation.

By enabling Bitcoin allocation, you acknowledge that you understand the risks involved, that Huddle does not provide investment advice or guarantee returns, and that you are solely responsible for any losses.

6. Huddle Badge

The Huddle Badge is a soulbound NFT (non-transferable) that represents your verified rental payment history on-chain.

Badge levels are calculated based on total verified payments and cannot be modified except through verified payment activity.

Badge data is stored on the Base blockchain and is publicly verifiable.

7. Limitation of Liability

Huddle provides the Platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for disputes between landlords and tenants, payment issues resulting from blockchain network issues, or losses due to cryptocurrency volatility.

8. Modifications to Terms

Huddle reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
